The Day System.
Wednesday, September 15th, 2004My timetable is arranged in a way that I have another day where it's interesting and the other day is boring.
For example, Day 1: Music, Chem, Anthro, and Math.
Now then, music is nice. It's music. But chem. Wow, Anastasios is uninteresting. I don't know why, but I don't like it so far. Anthro is also uninteresting, in that Forget hasn't been here for more than one class. And math. It's boring.
Then, Day 2: Physics, CS, English and Civ.
I have Phoenix for physics. Even though he's super-atheist, he's a good teacher with a lot of interesting stuff. I can't believe I'm having more fun in physics than chem. After that would be CS. Yeah, we're doing Visual Basic, but we get to play UT after we're done stuff anyway. English, Cohen is a great teacher and slightly insane, not as much as Hybs though. And of course, Civ with Cohen again. Classical Civ is interesting on its own anyway.
We had SYATP today, for once. It was great praying at the school together. Then we ate muffins and cookies that Cat brought us. Tasty sugar.

Yeah, I'm learning how to use vi now. I must say that syntax highlighting is soooo useful. Anymoo, even though nano is easier and I will use it during crises (like having my partitions changed! What do you mean you can't mount /dev/hda7? Well dang, you bloody moved it to /dev/hda4!), I believe that I will place my choice of editor in vim. I don't like Emacs that much anyway. So I'll be hjkl-ing and stuff. It's not that hard once you get used to it, but I have to use it for a while before I can get the hang of it. In conclusion, down with Emacs, long live vi.
Also, Windows is retarded. Why it can't read a bloody FAT32 partition that's first is beyond me. Time to scream for more help.
I just finished Animal Farm this morning. That is an awesome book. Now I hope I remember it for this Friday's quiz. George Orwell is a great author. Now I HAVE to read 1984.

Saturday, September 11th, 2004Who’s captaining.
I need a co-captain ;_____;
This is going to be an interesting year.
Thursday, September 9th, 2004WOOOOO. English and Classical Civ are going to be awesome. I have Cohen, and the classes today were very Cohen.
I think I'm going to especially enjoy Classical Civ. What do you want? I want to take a cheese grater and scrape it on George W's scalp.
Oh and the plant. As you may or may not know, a plant suddenly appeared in Mitsopoulos' room one day. As it turns out, last year's Classical Civ class dared Cohen to take the plant from Student Services. So, he walks in, and there's all the guidance people and Wilson there, and he takes the plant and walks out. Tidd sees him, Wolch sees him, lots of students see him, and he walks back to the class with the plant.
And that, kids, is what I get to look forward to for the next year.
