Uh-oh.
So after three days, tjcac.com is still down. That’s bad.
For one thing, all of our e-mail lists are down. That means: Hosanna PC, Aletheia CG, .COM, ZooCru, Awakening, all of those mailing lists are gone until we can get the domain going again.
Next, Project T. We’ve just given out tons of packages with the url for our website. Now, when all of those people wanting more information go to the site, they’ll get greeted with a thing where our site used to be. Bad.
When we first went with CredibleHost because of their free hosting for Christian groups, it seemed like an amazing deal. They were happy to give us hosting, and we were happy to get some really nice features and went crazy. As time went on, and we needed more space, they happily gave us the next step up in their hosting package for no additional cost.
They’re a really good host, and I almost wish we were paying them, because they’re so good. But their prices are a bit on the expensive side. But I don’t think we really appreciate the hosting that they give us.
So now our domain goes down. What can we do other than send e-mails and submit help desk tickets? We didn’t pay for the host, so we really can’t complain. On the other hand, the site is important for our ministry and we can’t afford to have it down too long, or even worse, have someone take it.
So I really don’t know what to do. Pray and hope it gets fixed in the next five minutes? I don’t know. This is causing unnecessary problems.

hey tim—i know there’s a problem with the wrong url thing…but other than that…if project t-dot needs space for a site…they can borrow our webspace on orangesimile.net……at least, i’m ok with it, perry’s ok with it, and you’re probably ok with it, and even btwn the three of us there’s plenty of space to go around…..
so yah, just a suggestion
I thought about that actually, but there are a few problems. We still don’t have the domain name because we don’t own it. Also, all of the information is stored on the site on a mySQL database, because it’s a WordPress site. Soooo, there’s not much we can really do except really hope that they didn’t ditch us.
