too bright… it’s a good straight-forward design, but… too bright.

Even with my brightness and contrast turned up to max, it still doesn’t look blindingly bright to me.
that’s just one of the many signs that shout to you, “get a new monitor!”
I don’t know what kind of monitor you have but it doesn’t sound too healthy looking into that thing.
My monitor is usually set to full contrast, no brightness. I turn the brightness up for games like Diablo II though, since jungles and hell are kinda dark.
maybe we’re seeing the same colors and you just don’t think that blue is as bright as i think it is. here’s a hint: it is.
If you can read the white, it’s not too bright.
