Blippity Blip

You know what would be interesting? Some DJ equipment (and someone to operate it) for worship. Think about it, it’d be like having another instrument to work with. You could use it to add to whatever the worship team would normally play. It could be little things like those electronic blips from Here Is Our King. Or, you could use it on its own, a la Andy Hunter. Think of the possiblities. All we need is equipment and someone with the skills, whether to serve or to train someone to serve. Mmm, electronic sounds for worship.

Black is Back

For all of you non-IE users, I have completed an alternate stylesheet just for you. It is called “sleek” after the iPod nano’s two colours: signature white (my default stylesheet) and sleek black. How to use this dark stylesheet? If you’re in Firefox, you can switch by using View > Page Style > sleek. If you want to switch back, the same, just choose signature standard. I’m pretty sure Mozilla and Opera are like that too.

Anyway, I decided that I may as well fix up a few things while I was messing around with stylesheets. I made the site so that the columns would grow or shrink with the text size. I hear it’s called elastic and it’s the cool thing to do. I haven’t been able to do this on individual pages, so don’t let that disappoint you if that’s what you’ve always wanted to do with my individual post pages.

For some reason, Opera doesn’t like to display the header image. It loads, then it disappears. Suggestions?

Here are a pile of math papers rubbing against each other under its own weight, causing the pencil to smear all over the page. It’s still readable, but it’s just set against the backdrop of a cloud of grey. Hence, I don’t write in pencil except for math tests and homework. I write in pen whenever I can, even if it’s math notes. Continue reading
