Renown

Ah, yes, it’s that word again! It seems like we’ve seen it quite a bit this past summer what with that praise and worship night and coffee house. It’s that video! Yep, it’s Passion. And finally, they’re coming to Toronto. No, I’m not a university student, but I am pretty close. In fact, I could go to Passion ’06 if I had the money and time, so I’m pretty glad they decided to come now. But, yes, Passion Toronto. (more…)

The TDSB is Incompetent

Today, we were supposed to receive bus passes so we could get on school buses. Of course, in accordance to the high quality we’ve come to expect from West Hill and the TDSB, they issue them two days after we’ve been using the buses. Also in that good old West Hill tradition of not getting it right the first time, a few of us weren’t even on the list. A few of us that’ve only been taking the school bus for the past three years. Time for the yearly disclosure of my timetable.

    4. Music: Bain
    1. Comp Eng.: Khoshidchehr
    2. English: Macdonell
    3. Calc: Voves
    4. Spare

Looks like everything’s the same except for physics, which is now Nguyen. I guess this timetable is okay for now.

Know what’s scary? Going to sleep with your head resting on your arm. In the morning, you can’t feel it for about a minute. I touched it with my other arm and it feels like it’s not your arm. Once the blood comes rushing back in, it’s like a thousand little tiny sharp pokes into your arm for another minute. Lesson of the day: don’t sleep with your head on your arm.
