Time to get partisan

This is another political post. You’ve been warned.

I really wish I could vote in this election because there are a few issues that will affect me and I’ve taken a side on those issues. Unfortunately, I will be turning into a legal adult 42 days too late. Also, I wished I were in some other riding, because our MP is going to stay here until he dies. I mean, he once had the highest margin of victory here. But yes, a few things happened on the way to January 23 that has changed my opinion dramatically. (more…)

Does anyone know where I can get a stick of 256MB PC2100 DDR for less than $30? And preferably not at Pacific Mall, because I know they have it there but I don’t want to go there and brave their parking lot just for another shot at RAM. But, my patience is wearing thin with working with half the RAM I’m used to. Things are fine for the most part, until I want to get some work done. Then things slow down to a crawl and suddenly, I’ve used up more than half of my swap.

Holiday food fun

It seems as though as we grow, holidays get less and less special. The chance to breath in our busy lives is nice, yes, but that spark that used to get us excited and hopping mad just isn’t there sometimes. If there’s one thing I can count on though, it’s the outpouring of good food for several days. (more…)
