and :) , I’m not alone in thinking that Saber should not even be in the conclusion of UBW, it is Rin’s route after all ┐(‘～`；)┌

@fnsna Yeah, that’s what I was referring to with the “Good End.” I know it’s not actually really a good end to Fate, but it may as well be.

And I only ever got the “True End” for UBW, because, like you, I preferred to have it just be Rin and Shirou anyway :p

I see what you mean about Fate being rather plain though, it’s mostly just an exploration of Saber’s past. I guess in that regard, it kinda pales in comparison once you’ve played UBW and HF.

Its not that I hate Fate or anything like that, but is that Fate is rather plain compared to the other two routes. With UBW and Heaven’s Feel, more character depth is given to almost all of the characters, while for Fate, some enemies, several enemies are killed before we are given reason on why.

@Nazarielle, while there is not a “Good End” to Fate, the PS2 version did end the whole game with a concluding part, where Shirou and Saber see each other again. Its your choice to view such end as a Fate “Good End” or not.

@blkmage, dont worry, I used a walkthrough for Fate/Stay Night. As for the “Good End”, I find the one in UWB not as impacting as the normal end (and maybe personally, I don’t want Rin to have to share Shirou with Saber >_>).

I guess that explains why people seem to really like Saber and hate her route. I did find it strange that Fate was the only route that didn’t have a Good End (I used a walkthrough).

Hmm… I liked the Fate route. My favorite is easily UBW for obvious reasons *cough*Rin*cough* but Fate was still a really great story. The anime handled the early parts of the Fate route pretty well I thought, but right around the time of the CG dragon, the wheels started coming off. The attempt to dip into UBW and HF for the anime backfired horrendously.

Anyway, it might just be that many people were seriously frustrated with the way Fate ended and/or that there’s no “Good End” for Fate. I mean, hell, they even made an extension of it to appease Saber fans and give them a sorta conclusive “Good End.”
