So Bleach, the anime, has been ridiculously disappointing. After that garbage with the Bount, I expected the quality of everything to go up, as it did with Naruto. Unfortunately, it seems that the quality is proportional to the length of filler. We didn’t get nearly enough disgusting filler to warrant any real increase in quality. I’d say that the animation is currently just as bad as it was during the filler.

And since we didn’t get two years of filler, I guess the producers decided it’d be better to stuff filler in, interspersed throughout the new arc. This new strategy really messes the original arc up a lot, since it breaks the flow of the plot and generally degrades the quality a lot. I’d rather they do the new Naruto Shippuuden thing of airing every other week.

And don’t get me started on the new OP. I hated the last OP, and the new AKFG song isn’t bad, but my God, the animation in the new opening is bloody awful.

Dear Kariya, Bounto, and other nonsense filler garbage,

You are all dead. Now please gtfo of my Bleach forever.

Honestly, in some ways, this is worse than Naruto. I do not want to see Kariya’s ghost coming to talk to Ichigo for half the episode.

As I’ve mentioned before, my first week of classes at Waterloo was spent watching the entireity of Bleach up to 97 after I decided to download the first episode during Frosh Week. Currently, Bleach is going through a filler arc. (more…)

It’s a good thing it’s only the second week and we’re only doing review. That gives me time to catch up. About 50 more episodes to go! In other news, Resnet has turned into a pile of mushy crap. Average speed in DC++ is approximately 5 kb/s.
